We're on Vacation
Our life on Earth is a trip to many destinations, none of which we can call home. Our real home is in heaven, and one thing is for sure: Our vacation will one day end, and we will have to return home. Just like in any other vacation, when all is well and we are having fun, we forget we have to go back--We actually beg to stay longer. The opposite is also true. If we experience delays, change of plans, sickness or any other misfortune, we say things like, "I'm dieing to go home!" And that is literally what we will do. So lets enjoy our vacation even if we experience hardships. Enjoy the people we meet, the food we eat and all the things we do. When we least expect it, it'll be time to go back home.

Thank you for your nice comments =)
Hello Analicia--My name is Sandy and I am following Mrs. Roman's Religion Class blog for a class I am taking myself. But I had been wondering how a blog would work for the high school Sunday School class at my own church, and I was really excited when I saw Mrs. Roman's blog. I really enjoyed your comments, especially when you said, "So let's enjoy our vacation even if we experience hardships." I am much older than you must be, I'm 58, and I think you really expressed the idea of life on earth and heaven very well! It's very insightful. I hope this blog works out well for your class and that other students will comment on your thoughts. Sandy
Hi Ana,
I have been wondering about a blog for a Sunday School class too. How young is too young? I teach a 4/5 class. THey are immature though so I may wait a year.
